The trams are just a short walk away, allowing for quick and convenient travel around the city. the hotel is centrally located, making it a perfect base for exploring the tourist areas. You can easily walk into town and enjoy the beautiful Rhine river.
The excessive heating throughout the building, which made it difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience at the hotel.

We loved the spacious and well-equipped executive room at Novotel. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the WiFi connection was excellent for staying connected. The location was also perfect, with easy access to Basel Central Station via tram. During our short stay here, we found this venue to be very comfortable and conveniently located, just a few steps away from the tram station. Our room was equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Moreover, we appreciated the complimentary tram tickets, which allowed us to explore the city easily, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.
All in all, we recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good standard place to stay for a night or two.

The hotel provided us with a complimentary ticket for all means of public transport, a pleasant surprise. The receptionist was very helpful and provided us with everything we needed, including an electricity adapter. The location of the hotel was convenient, within walking distance of the central train station and shuttle bus to the airport. The rooms were well equipped and clean, just as expected from a Novotel hotel.
The breakfast offered was very basic compared to other Novotel hotels I've stayed in. I found the price of the hotel a bit high, even though I booked with a discount.

Spacious executive room with no windows to open, but size was good. Firm pillows provided. Excellent breakfast selection with hot cooked items. Convenient location, 10 to 15-minute walk to main station. Tram ride to old town takes only 10 minutes.
